The People's Republic of Improv

PRI is Ghost Light Theatre's resident improvised theatre company. The troupe performs the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month at 8 pm and are determined to bring Nelson brave new improvised theatre formats, the likes that have never been seen in the region before!

The company is a cooperative of trained actors and improvisers. This quirky team has a penchant for stepping into the territory of the unscripted and the unknown. Join the revolution and see them in action twice a month at Ghost Light.

ON NOW: Seven UP

SEPTEMBER 14th and 28th.

"Give me a child until he is seven and I will show you the man.”

Inspired by the acclaimed British documentary of the same name, Seven Up follows children from vastly different backgrounds beginning at age seven and then revisits them every seven years. In our new show, performers will begin building their characters with the help of our audience and then mature, seven years at a time, before our eyes. Rich or poor. Loved or neglected. Will they be forever bound by the circumstances of their childhood as they navigate their way through life? A unique and joyous exploration of what makes us who we are.
