Eco Rockin' Abel Tasman

Quite a gathering of life-forms, quite a party. Oh, for The Visiting Speakers! Travellers, Wildlife, Trees, Mountain, Islands, Tides and Shipwrecks...
This family-friendly show brings Golden Bay poet, John 'the Walrus' Crick, to Ghost Light for a very special show filled with magic and humour. All of his characters give voice and song ~ 43 speaking parts at last count! "Like nothing else,” as the saying goes. Of course Split Apple Pirates are back and ready to rock. Ditto The Giant Penguins ~ memorably-named “Pachydyptes Ponderosus” ~ how can these 80kg beauties not make a comeback after 30 million little-old years rock-wrapped? The playfulness flows on in this show, evolving over the years. There's a sweet balance in it now after fine-tuning the history of Abel Tasman National Park and working with the characters he has found. A few Gnarly Ghosts may waltz in THE GHOST LIGHT? Pérrine, Tasman, Durville. Ghost Ships and Huffams. Lonely Jimmy. The Schooner who Sailed Herself. Care to roll along and meet them? BOOK NOW
